My husband and I live at 16XX South. We had several significant events over the years, but they are dated. A man who was on our roof, looked like Jesus(high as a kite) shoeless, long stringy hair but scary. Criminal trespass.
Another involving a man who was going all over our neighborhood stealing stuff out of cars in the middle of the night; sunglasses, change, skateboards, anything of value whose image was caught on a neighbor’s camera. That image was shared with everyone. And one day weeks later he was walking near our home during daytime. I spotted him. Same backpack. Similar clothing Patrol was called. Chase ensued. He was caught and charged. Some property was retrieved.
But all of this was ages ago. I have called a couple of times these past few years about suspicious individuals and I am so grateful I have an officer who picks up the phone. One was fairly recent and you mentioned in a past communication that he (the suspicious individual) was a repeat offender who was soliciting in our neighborhood. Priceless

Here’s a quick testimonial. Luckily it’s pretty boring – i.e. no break-ins (knock on wood) – but that is probably due to the great work you do 🙂
I am a committed subscriber as the BOCA Patrol Service gives me peace of mind. I keep them at the top of my cell phone favorites. I can vouch for their responsiveness as I have ‘pocket dialed’ them multiple times. They respond promptly and are professional and kind – even if it’s a misdial. If I’m traveling, they drive by more often. If someone unexpected shows up or leaves a package, they will check it out. These experienced officers are focused on proactively keeping Southampton safe. We really have noticed and appreciated your increase in communication and illustrative examples that you are giving the community. I hope that folks that aren’t current subscribers are getting your updates it really validates any expenses. I undoubtedly would think this would increase subscription! (14XX Banks St)

I am at 15XX South Blvd. Shortly after we moved in my husband and I went to dinner and our children were with a sitter. A men wearing a hospital bracelet entered through the back gate which was open and walked around to the front of the house. He opened the front door and our dog would not let him enter the house. Our sitter was able to close and lock the door; however, the man stayed on the porch staring in the windows. We called patrol and my husband rushed home. The officer that responded was already there and had the man handcuffed. HPD also had already been called. We were very impressed by how quickly patrol responded and how the officer guided us through the best options for handling the trespasser. Thank you!!!

The patrol has helped me in many ways, from out-of-town drive-bys to checking my house for intruders before I went inside. The most tangible aid was when I could not lift my 70 pound suitcase into my car and had no neighbors around to help me. The officer hefted the heavy case up as if it were filled either air. And smilingly wished me good luck and a good trip. The patrol is there for us in every situation and will gladly help out when called.
